The Policy Lab spans over two terms – staring in the Fall term of AY 2010 with the finished product to be submitted by the end of the Winter term. During these two terms students will work on a policy research problem for an external client. The purpose of the Policy Lab is to provide a real-life consultancy experience for students who wish to pursue a career in public policy, development, political advocacy and similar areas. The Policy Lab consists of groups up to 4 students, each group working with an individual client. Groups will be assigned to a faculty member to provide guidance and feedback on the specific project. The Policy Lab will be overseen by the Policy Lab Director and coordinated by the Skills and Applied Learning Coordinator.
