Research in Global Governance

Course Description: 

As the COVID-29 pandemic is revealing, global governance is a highly topical subject at a time of geopolitical power shifts amidst climate change. This course provides an intensive and critical orientation in the subject of research in global governance as a field of scholarly inquiry and policy engagement. It aims at preparing students for independent and advanced-level research in the field of global governance On the one hand, it is concerned with critically engaging key topics in the field of global governance, exploring different historical, theoretical (epistemological and ontological issues) and research challenges, which have potentially transferable uses. On the other hand, it also seeks to complement such substantive content with an active learning approach geared toward training in core transferable and applied skills.
