The goal of this seminar is to provide a venue for student to think through and get feedback on issues related to their prospectus. Given the great variety of topics and methodological approaches that characterize the doctoral program, the focus of this class will be twofold. First, students will be encouraged to speak and write about their prospecti in a manner that is accessible to colleagues not well versed in each others area of expertise. Second, through roundtables and short presentations we will discuss some common challenges that arise in the writing of prospecti irrespective of fields.
