Course Description
This course offers support to students in structuring their projected thesis. This will cover the structure and elements of the thesis, organization of the research and writing process, and research ethics (at CEU). A special session will focus on the challenges and opportunities of engaged research in the master's thesis.
Learning Outcomes
In this course students will
- become familiar with CEU research ethics and discuss the challenges of ethical research,
- learn to structure and plan a good-quality thesis,
- be introduced to research material organization and work time management
Assessment
In order to pass this class, students must attend all mandatory classes, take part in the individual mentoring sessions, and complete the required assignments.
