Course Description: 

This course provides a working knowledge of international financial issues, exchange rate theories, and practice. This course discusses different types of exchange rate regimes with emphasis on introduction of common currency and the history of introduction of the euro.

Learning Outcomes: 

Student will learn the theory and practice of international monetary and exchange rate economics and will demonstrate their understanding of different monetary systems and policies.
