Course Description: 

This course overviews major theories and methodologies of interpretation in visual culture (/visual studies), paying a special attention to visual methods themselves (image science). In addition to presenting theories (through major concepts) and methodologies of interpretation, the course elaborates on two historical “shifts”; digital shift and post-digital shift, marking changes in visual media.
